Here's my take, my husband and I have been parent for 23 years, that's how old our oldest is, it takes Love, patience and a lifetime of to be a good parent do you ever become a great parent? that's entirely up to how much time we are willing to spend on that child/children, it takes hard work and many, many years to become a great Pianist only a few succeed at doing both.
