Nanny/Babysitter

Nanny or Sitter, I just had to look it up, there seems to be some confusion, so here is the Dictionary description of both, A Nanny or childminder is a person who looks after the child or children of another family, a nanny goes to the house of the child in order to care for it; childminders look after the child in the childminder's home. Modern nannies may live in or out.

Babysitter (plural babysitters)
A person who cares for one or more babies or children for a short period of time in place of their legal guardians. My neighbor is sometimes a babysitter for other moms' children.

So basically they perform they same or similar duties in the absence of a parent/legal guardian, that's an eye opener or is it, I knew the difference, the vast majority of parents I've interviewed want the care provided in their homes, so the care giver/Nanny /Sitter can also do some house keeping.
I started as a baby sitter and all along I was a Nanny/Sitter, to be  politically correct or administering the right label to a job description to  perform the same exact job, some parents beg the differ, if you are confused don't be, I had to put it in writing,  a parent brought it to my attention when I was applying for a Nanny position.

My weekend in Albuquerque NM

With my bff Roberta
This weekend I had the pleasure of visiting one of the USA's most beautiful cities in my book and I get to travel a lot,  the city, Albuquerque an epicenter of authentic Southwestern culture. Albuquerque is home to more than the Native American, Hispanic, Latino and Anglo cultures for which New Mexico is well known. Our multicultural city includes strong African American, Asian, Middle Eastern and other ethnic communities, creating a unique and modern Southwestern blend. In fact, more than 70 different ethnicities call Albuquerque home. All in a nut shell and I'm ready to  re-visit this great City for their
Annual Balloon Fiesta. October 2-10.
